The Charcoal Companion Safe-Steam Grill Cleaner features a high-capacity sponge wrapped in an Aramid knit layer designed to withstand heat up to 475-degree-F (246-degree-C). Deliver a blast of steam to dirty grill grates and then use the integrated scraper to tackle stubborn burnt-on bits. When you are done toss the removable head in the dishwasher for easy clean-up. Use Reheat your grill to at least 400-degree-F. For safety turn off the burners once your grill is hot. Prepare a large bowl of water with room for displacement near your grill. Dunk your Safe-Steam Grill Cleaner to saturate with water then run it across your grates watching out for hot steam. Refill with water as needed until your grates are clean. Care To remove the cleaner head unscrew the black wing nut and remove the wing nut and scraper. The fabric cleaner head should easily pull off the handle and can be placed in the dishwasher or washed by hand. Hand wash the handle and scraper.
